In the aftermath of 9/11/2001, Americans troops have served in Afghanistan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Philippines, Sahara, and Syria. Any other countries?

More than 2,400 Americans have died during these deployments. None have been identified as being from Murray County, Georgia.

The Murray County Veterans Museum wants to recognize our veterans who served in these countries by creating lists of those who were deployed there. Please email the museum with the following information for each person: your name, rank, which military service, which war zone were you in, years you were there, and the section of Murray County in which you lived prior to this deployment. If you know of others from Murray who were deployed to these countries, tell them about the lists being created or, if they are no longer able to submit their information, you may submit their information to be added to these lists.
